Michael Daingerfield is a multifaceted performer/writer/producer whose talents have left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. With a career spanning decades, Michael's versatility and dedication to his craft have made him a highly respected figure in film, television, voice-over and voice-over education.

 

Michael's first passion was playing competitive tennis, not only was he ranked nationally, he received a 4-year tennis scholarship to Murray State University, an NCAA Division 1 school in Kentucky. It was at Murray State where Michael discovered what he really wanted to do. Perform. Michael started out performing Stand-up comedy at various venues after college such as Yuk Yuks, The LA Improv, The Laugh Factory, and The Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

As an on-camera actor, Michael has appeared in over 50 television and feature film roles alongside talents such as Morgan Freeman (Dreamcatcher), Billy Crystal, Seth MacFarlane, Julie Andrews, Dwayne Johnson (Tooth Fairy), Tom Welling (Smallville), Halle Berry, Benjamin Bratt (Catwoman), Stephen Amell (Arrow), Kristen Stewart, Dylan McDermott (The Messengers), further informing his vocal performances with a deep understanding of character, pacing, and cinematic storytelling.

He is currently the narrator of Underdog Inc (AMI), Yukon Rescue (Nat Geo), Rust Valley Restorers S5 (History/Netflix), Top Ten Weather Disasters (TWC), and Mayday Air Disasters (TWC)—adding to a long list of acclaimed documentary and factual series.

 

In animation, Michael recently voiced Patchy on Disney’s Gigantosaurus and Captain America on LEGO Marvel Avengers. You'll also hear him in Ninjago: Dragons Rising, Phoebe and Jay, Polly Pocket, and The Guava Juice Show.

 

Michael was recently the promo voice of Doom Patrol for HBO Max, as well as 80’s Top Ten and Shark Tank on National Geographic.

 

In video games, he’s widely known as the iconic main zombie in the Plants vs. Zombies franchise ("There goes the neighbourhood"), and for standout

performances in Dead Rising 3, King of Meat, The Thaumaturge, and Need for Speed. Most recently, he voices Spaceman in World of Tanks Modern Armor – Metal Fest: KISS for PS5.

 

A fan favorite in anime and dubbing, Michael stars as Gintoki Sakata in Gintama Season 3 and Gintama: The Final, as well as Sesshomaru in InuYasha. He also voices key characters in the Transformers universe—including Wheeljack, Inferno/Roadblock, and Quickmix across Armada, Cybertron, and Energon.

 

Audiences have also heard Michael in campaigns for Ritz, Sling, Northern Trust, Cortizone 10, NBC, Xfinity Mobile, Central Bank, Quaker, The Brick, Spectrum Reach, and Nautilus; and in animated series such as Ace Ventura, LEGO Star Wars, My Little Pony, The Hollow, Super Monsters, Monster Beach, George of the Jungle, Iron Man, InuYasha, Kid vs. Kat, Geronimo Stilton, LeapFrog, Barbie movies, and Nerds and Monsters. He also narrated My Floating Home, Ice Pilots NWT, and Cabin Truckers.
