Michael Daingerfield is a multifaceted performer/writer/producer whose talents have left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. With a career spanning three decades, Michael's versatility and dedication to his craft have made him a highly respected figure in film, television, voice-over and voice-over education.
Michael's first passion was playing competitive tennis, not only was he ranked nationally in Canada, he received a 4-year tennis scholarship to Murray State University, an NCAA Division 1 school in Kentucky. It was at Murray State where Michael discovered what he really wanted to do. Perform. Michael started out performing Stand-up comedy at various venues after college such as Yuk Yuks, The LA Improv, The Laugh Factory, and The Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 1999.
As a Master Impressionist and Voice-Actor, Michael has impersonated some of the biggest stars in the world from Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura in the Ace Ventura Animated Series on CBS to Harrison Ford as Han Solo in Lego Star Wars on Disney, and Chris Evans as Captain America in Marvel Superhero Adventures on Disney. Michael has also appeared in some of the biggest animated tv series and feature film franchises such as My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic as Braeburn, Ninjago as Krux/Dr. Saunders, Krypto The Superdog as Superman, and Sausage Party alongside Seth Rogen, Bill Hader and Edward Norton. As the voice of many major brands, documentary series and networks Michael Daingerfield's voice appears all over the world on a daily basis. Michael is currently the voice of Vicks, Travelers Insurance, Frontdoor, Northern Trust, Jensen Jewellers, Credelio Plus and Honda. He's currently the narrator on Rust Valley Restorers S5 (History/Netlfix), Top Ten Weather Disasters (TWC) and Mayday Air Disasters (TWC). Michael was recently the Promo voice for Doom Patrol on HBO Max and 80's Top Ten and Shark Tank on National Geographic. In video games, Michael is best known for his portrayal as the main zombie in the Plants Vs Zombies franchise, as well as Dead Rising 3 and Need for Speed. In anime, Michael is best known for playing Gintoki Sakata in Gintama which released a feature film in theatres entitled Gintama: The Final.
As an on-camera actor Michael has appeared in numerous TV series and feature films with such stars as Morgan Freeman in Dreamcatcher, Billy Crystal, Seth MacFarlane, Julie Andrews and Dwayne Johnson in Tooth Fairy, Tom Welling in Smallville, Halle Berry and Benjamin Bratt in Catwoman, Stephen Amell in Arrow, Kristen Stewart and Dylan McDermott in The Messengers, and Michael also appeared as Bill Haley from Bill Haley and the Comets in the NBC Movie Mr. Rock N Roll: The Alan Freed Story.
