Michael's first passion was playing competitive tennis, not only was he ranked nationally in Canada, he received a 4-year tennis scholarship to Murray State University, an NCAA Division 1 school in Kentucky. It was at Murray State where Michael discovered what he really wanted to do. Perform. Michael started out performing Stand-up comedy at various venues after college such as Yuk Yuks, The LA Improv, The Laugh Factory, and The Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

He is currently the voice of Vicks, Travelers Insurance, Frontdoor, Northern Trust, Jensen Jewellers, Credelio Plus, and Honda, and serves as narrator on Underdog Inc (S1 AMI), Yukon Rescue (S1 Nat Geo), Rust Valley Restorers (S5 – History / Netflix), Top Ten Weather Disasters (The Weather Channel), and Mayday: Air Disasters (The Weather Channel).
